If you turn this option On, when the Story is added to the Epic Flowriter will automatically start generating a starter flowchart, User Journeys, and Acceptance Criteria for the Story:

This may take a minute or two, depending on the Story language, and complexity of the flowchart

When finished, the Story will appear Incomplete in the Epic. This is because it does not yet have any Test Scripts:

Tips

When using this option, make the Story name as descriptive as possible. This will provide the best result the suggested flowchart and Acceptance Criteria. For example:

  • As a pet owner, I want to see my pet's location history displayed on a map, so that I can see where they have been

  • A web page that displays a pet's real time location on a map based on their bluetooth tracker data

  • A settings screen in the app that allows a user to add and remove their pet profiles

Whether you use the Generate flowchart and acceptance criteria option or not when creating a story, you can always manually edit the Story flowchart and re-generate the Acceptance Criteria at any time. You can also have Flowriter generate a new flowchart in a story at any time.

You can write Story names in any of the supported .
