An Epic in Agile documentation serves as a large container for related user stories, outlining a substantial piece of functionality or feature to be developed over multiple sprints.

It is like a big project goal (e.g., "Build a shopping cart"), and the User Stories inside it are the smaller tasks needed to achieve it (e.g., "Add items to cart," "Remove items from cart," "Calculate total").

Flowriter organizes User Stories by Epic — so you start by creating an Epic, and then add Stories to the Epic.

To save time, Flowriter can automatically generate placeholder Stories inside a new Epic. See
